I drive for Lyft and this is a Splendid™ location for picking up and dropping off passengers. Many passengers rave about their Splendid™ food.
I'm not sure, but i would imagine so.
Not worth it. The chicken was dry and the food over seasoned with garlic. Pizza was not up to snuff. A bit soggy in the middle. It wasn't that expensive and the service was good, but I would have rather gone elsewhere. (Also this is def an Italian place, not 'New American')
My friends and husband surprised me with a Birthday dinner here and it was fantastic! The salmon I ordered was delicious, the restaurant is gorgeous inside and the best part was the awesome server we had. Loved the complimentary strawberry shots for the table!
Food was great, atmosphere is chill. Rough on the purse, but it's not worse than any other place down town. Side note, you cant call a menu item "Biscuits and Gravy" and serve 1 Biscuit cut in half. $13.50
Good atmosphere with friendly servers. Food was pretty good....but the serving plates at our table were dirty (like really dirty), which they changed out immediately once they were aware. This is the only reason they received 4 stars instead of 5. This seemed like an abnormal and I would still definitely recommend this as a solid place to try.
It was a nice clean place, but the food wasn't impressive. Service was good. Just not impressed with the food.
Hour walk in wait on Saturday. Just found a stool at the bar with my wife and had a drink until they texted us that our table was ready. Great food and a laid back but upscale atmosphere
My absolute favorite place throughout years in college. Their menu doesn’t change much, so I literally had everything I could have there... all these dishes are delicious... their drinks are not that good though. There was once I ordered some Manhattan on the menu, and it was on the rocks... But on weekends brunch time, I have to say their Bloody Mary is SO GOOD!Some dishes I always order here: bruschetta/calamari/burrata! (I love burrata, however they make broken burrata all the time) A lot of dishes side with bread so make sure read descriptions to avoid including too many bread in your order. It was sad that a dish my friend and I both loved no longer on the menu. It was like pork belly and pineapple on polenta base, seriously I was always afraid to try pork belly in the past until tried this dish in dark lights without knowing it was pork belly. Please bring it back lol
do not go here if gluten free. the worst gluten free crust aj have ever had. Dominos and Papa Johns has better gluten free pizza than this and it’s a quarter of the price. Really disappointed.
Best happy hour ever! Half off the majority of their menu from 4-6pm including cocktails. Servers, at the bar, are very attentive even in the chaos of happy hour! Food was delicious and definitely enough to share.
Amazing food and service. Flavorful and so many varieties of food to eat. I had 3 types of their pizza. I enjoyed the chicken most. The veggie was great as well. The Bruschetta, calamari, eggplant parmesan are excellent! I've had a vast array.
We went right when they opened and it was a great atmosphere, great staff and I loved the vodka strawberry shots!!! They were delicious. And I’m not a big fan of shots usually. Can’t wait to check out their other locations too.
Service was excellent! Food was good but not great, salmon was over cooked and so was the filet. Sent the filet back and it was much better. I will give them another shot and you should to.
Was told this was the best breakfast pizza in Columbus but it was a huge disappointment.
I go here for happy hour after work quite often and it's dope! Half off great tasting cocktails, appetizers, and pizza keeps me coming back. The service is also A1 and we're always taken care of. It can be a bit busy though so you might have to be comfortable with chilling at the bar unless you call ahead of time.
Forno's happy hour is the place to be. With half off drinks and apps you can easily get you and your date buzzed and full for under $40. The busy atmosphere of the open kitchen combined with the young energetic crowd makes this a great date spot provided you get their early enough to get a seat. Their jalapeno margarita might be my favorite in Columbus.
The food was great and I loved the atmosphere. It felt magical and nice and relaxing.
Love this restaurant! Pizzas were fantastic, service was excellent, and they had a great system in place for Covid. Felt very safe eating there, clean as can be.
Quite pricey, but maybe that's how this area is. The quality was great. Service was great and the place has a cool design.
I love Forno. They have some of the best cocktails I've had in Columbus and their pizza is amazing as well. If you have never been be sure to go during happy hour so you can try all the cocktails and pizza for half off.
The environment it's very friendly, making it easy to browse through the menu, which has unlimited options for you to try the different mix of flavors. Bottomless mimosas accompanied by the French toast or if you are more of a meat ball and French fries person it can go well, as long as you are willing to eat, enjoy and relax.
They just got it right. Good vibes and great food. The quality shows in how the good tastes (fantastic). Long wait but they text you so you can grab a drink say their bar or another.
This place has a very attractive atmosphere with a bar, private event space, and good music playing in the background. Pizzas are the heart of the daily menu, but the weekend brunch here is especially phenomenal. They have all of the usual suspects on the menu, but add unique twists to most of them that really elevate the dishes. Service is friendly and typically pretty fast, even without a reservation. I'd highly recommend Forno for the overall experience!
Service was great, ambience is romantic and for going out on weekends. Food was mediocre. We had the meatball linguine. Sauce was a little different for my tasting as it tasted like there was way too much olive juice or something in the pasta sauce. House salad was decent. The roasted potato side was probably the best thing we had there. I would want to try again for their pizza. Def not the best food in columbus but would have a date night here for sure. We really appreciate the server bringing out the pasta and salad divided out for us.
Absolutely delicious for brunch! It is a bit pricey, but excellent for special occasions. The chicken and waffles was nothing short of amazing, and I would definitely drink more mimosas from Forno 😍 We were able to make a patio reservation for 10am which was perfect, and our waiter was very helpful and amicable!
Not worth the price in my opinion. I got a wild mushroom pizza, which was pretty good, and my girlfriend got a gluten free Hawaiian, which she hated. I have no problem buying a $20 pizza, but this wasn’t good enough for $20. We did take-out, and their COVID precautions were good with contactless payment when you pick up. Unfortunately, probably won’t be trying again anytime soon.
Amazing atmosphere, the mimosa bottle service is definitely worth it!
Forno's Happy Hour is AMAZING! Get there early and enjoy the 1/2 price pizza and many other offerings. You have to finish off any meal there with strawberries. Enjoy it!!!
Forno has some great food, not going to lie. The happy hour is really good, especially when you order the pizza.
Went here for a birthday brunch last year with friends, and it was great! Food was delicious and the service was great! I’ve been other times, with good service and food, as well!
The food was amazing! Perfectly cooked pizza with a stone fired crust! They were packed when we got there, so I recommend making reservations first. Even though they were super busy the server was great and super attentive! Can't wait to go back to Forno!
Went here for Valentine's day friendly staff food was delicious and the seating that we had was perfect, prices reasonable. My favorite was their pizza if your going with a group the pizza is a shareable size. I highly recommend!
Such good food. They are medium priced for the Short North, but very good food. Great service and they are cute!! The pizza is great, but this brunch braised beef if amazing.
Very cool atmosphere, great service and tasty food. I had the carne pizza with artichokes. Crust was nice and crispy and the pizza held together nicely. It was large enough to have leftovers the next day. Drinks were great as well! I can't wait to go back.
We had pizza and the calamari was great if you like that sort of food.
THE. BEST. HAPPY. HOUR. IN. CBUS.Katie was on the spot with her service. Everything was timely and delicious! We came for happy hour and every single appetizer was exceptional and unique. We will be back!
Pizza was ok nothing to brag about.
This place was so nice. It had a cool, laidback atmosphere that made you want to just sit for a while. My server was so helpful and the food great. I'm definitely going back.
Although some of the places in the short North or quiet this place was filled to the Gill. Always a great time here
Excellent service-excellent delicious food. Always consistent which seems sadly to be rare in Columbus Ohio. I am so happy to have found this place!!! Even though I live by the Columbus Zoo I gladly make this trip as one of my very favorites. Thank you!!!
Great happy hour prices, delicious pizza. Highly recommend!
I had a very positive experience. Ordered the warm ricotta and meatballs as an appetizer. They were both very delicious and complimentary. I had the meatball linguini and my partner had the steak. Both cooked very well and had no complaints. I will definitely return in the near future.
I had an amazing social distancing dining experience within a wonderfully set up for everyone to be safe, staff and customers included
I have been to Forno a few times for Brunch and had not written a review - until now. My go to is the Nutella & Banana French Toast, because that combo is my guilty pleasure. But upon my most recent visit I tried the Eggs Purgatory Skillet and it was DELICIOUS! One of my favorite breakfast meals to date. The environment is light and clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend especially if visiting the area!
Chicken and Waffles...As soon as this plate was dropped off to me I frowned. I thought to myself "that chicken doesn't look fried.." There was no crust or crispiness to the skin what so ever.. The meat was juicy and there was some slight flavor but the chicken didn't match the hype of the dish. The waffle was cool. It was a liege style waffle. The texture was pretty good and the syrup seemed to be a real maple syrup. Could have used two waffles since they are quite small. Also would have wanted another piece of chicken but I would have been complaining even longer about the chicken.Might come back to try the pizza but would only try the Chicken and Waffles if it were free.
Do: Come here for outdoor seating and mimosa brunch.Comfy place to start nice morning.Don’t: Order pizza Considering there are too many good pizza places to go in cbus, forno is just an average.
I have a lot of food allergies and I absolutely love that I can finally have a pizza that doesn't kill me. They are very accommodating and very patient with me and my allergies as well as make amazing drinks that are to die for!!
LOVED this for dinner. Get the strawberries on the cocktail menu - you wont regret it. The flat bread is also very good. The service was great and the food was fantastic. It is a very chic restaurant with fun decor. There was great music and the vibe was youthful yet sophisticated. We had a girls night here and have been back several times and always recommend it to others who are in the area.
Always a Five star dining experience! Bartender is EXCELLENT, not to mention handsome! What beats half priced Frose and the ability to indulge in two pizzas!? Yes, undecided on what to try...order half shrimp, half white or whatever your taste buds desire. Forno has by far the ultimate Happy Hour menu in the Short North.
The food and drinks were great! If sitting outside, be prepared for some street noises, as you are in the middle of the Short North.
This place has some great food though the appetizers stole the show. The arancini and ahi tuna tacos are an amazing start with the Gerber farm chicken and the salmon being a good entree choice but overshadowed by the appetizers. Still, great food. A bit noisy but would definitely go back
